Kanata 90s Lightning advance to ¼ finals of Ontario Cup.
For the second year in a row, the Kanata 90s Lightning have advanced past the round robin stages of the Ontario Cup to qualify for the 1/4-final round. After a 2-2 tie with Ottawa South United ERSL, Kanata beat Aurora of the CSL Regional Prem league 3-1 and the Oakville Internationals of the SRSL Elite league 4-0. The next round will be away against the Caledon Fireballs OYSL on August 6th.

Last year, the Lightning reached the semi-finals, loosing to the eventual National Champion Oakville Bluestars.
